Membership explanation 

 

 

Triangle A Arena (TAA) is hosting 3 different types of shows (competitions) in 2026



TAAC

Triangle A Arena Competitions (TAAC) - there will be only one TAAC in 2026, it is a 2-day show.

No membership needed.

Medium trail obstacles and an obstacle arena pattern (pattern is posted on the website)

TAAC is not timed and falls into a medium difficulty rating but has an easier novice class.

1 buckle per Class for the 2026 weekend plus ribbons for each class



AHCA (American horseman challenge association)

 

TAA is an affiliate of AHCA and will follow AHCA rules 

TAA will host 19 AHCA shows in 2026. Each day is its own show.

There is a 50% payback, TAA ribbons or small prizes riders' choice)

AHCA is timed but not a race. Most obstacles will be -showcase your horse- and offer an easy and hard way to do so. Some obstacles are on the harder side of difficulty, but the rider chooses on what to do with the obstacle given.

Memberships and benefits

AHCA membership $50

AHCA Horse one-time fee $10

With an AHCA membership you can qualify for nationals held in Sedalia MO, get AHCA high point year end AHCA rewards. AHCA membership is valid for any AHCA show in the US.

There is a $5 non member fee for every entry if rider has no AHCA membership

 

TAA membership for AHCA shows

Membership $30

Family membership $50 parents and kids

With a TAA membership you will get discounts on all TAA clinics

Some free day ride passes for days without a show.

TAA will supply TAA branded year end high point buckles and prizes (If qualified, see rulebook for rules and regulations)

 

TAA holds a 3-day AHCA buckle show on Memorial Day. TAA will supply TAA branded buckle for high point overall and novice class and prizes. Must ride all 3 days to qualify. Must hold TAA membership to qualify for buckles and prizes but not to ride. (more buckles may be added)

 

AHCA and Triangle A Arena LLC (TAA) are 2 separate organizations working together to offer prizes and perks to the AHCA competitions hosted at Triangle A Arena 

To ride AHCA shows you do not need any membership, or you can choose one or both memberships depending on your goals and prizes you like to work towards



CT2V  (Country Tough Trail Versatility)

 

TAA is an affiliate of CT2V and follows CT2V rules 

TAA will hold two CT2V shows in 2026

Each show is a 2 day show with 3 parts. On the trail maneuvers, an obstacle course and a horsemanship/ranch pattern. Patterns are posted in the CT2V rulebook.

CT2V is an easier show. Obstacles are none scary and not overwhelming 

 

CT2V membership

$30 per rider and horse combo

CT2V will give a rulebook and decal with membership

CT2V membership is required to ride.

CT2V membership is valid for all CT2V shows in the US

With the membership you can qualify for nationals in Mora MO.

Prizes

CT2V ribbons on every show held by TAA.

TAA  will supply high point year end prizes-must ride both shows

No TAA membership needed
